Hi everybody!I have a huge problem with the triangles that I draw in my modeling software. Everytime I try to associate to the layer of the triangles trees or people there's this window that pops out and says "This layer contains connetted triangles. Triangles must be disconnetted!"So, my question is: how I have to draw these triangles to make them work in Felix? I used the isoscles triangle as you wrote in the newsletter and I tried different way to draw them. So, please, help me!Thanks!

Dear lazzonga. When you are creating layer with triangles you have to choose, to create them as mesh not as nurbs. If you create them as nursb, during export, modeling software like f.e. Rhino can dive one triangle into two or more triangles. In that case Felix has no idea where to put trees or people. After import to Felix, please goto Options->Scene Info and check if nr of triangles in that layer corresponds to desired (created in modeling software).

Ok, I'm understood why Felix doesn't recognize my triangles. But how can I solve it? Because I also tried using the mesh, but I still have this problem!I drew 5 triangles and the mesh didn't  have any height, but still see 10 triangles instead of 5.So, the triangles have to be 2D or 3D? And I'm not an informatic so I don't know really well the difference between mesh and nursb. I really don't know how to draw those triangles in ArchiCAD.Thanks

Dear lazzonga,In Archicad to create a triangle without elevation as a single polygon you have to select "mesh" from "design tools", draw a triangle and then you have to choose the "construction method" as "superficies". Put attention not to select the "skirt" or "solid" construction methods, because in such way you will create a solid geometry with elevation, even if you choose 0 elevation. If you cloned the first tringle, check if that is not duplicate in the same position. If you can't solve the problem, send an email to support@felixrender.com including your phone number so we can support you more in depth.ThanksMassimo Ciani

Hi,colud you be more precise, what problem do you have?. You don't know how to design triangles in your modelling software. After import Felix gives you some problems? Object are not rotated corectly?Best regards
